|A beautiful poem written by a beautiful person (not me!) |
Please take a look - I promise you'll like it
Autumn part 1She lay on the bed completely still. She was very sick, and I couldn't do anything about it. The cough stopped about a week ago, now she just lay there, with a short breath. "I'll go get you a glass of water". I patted her head and walked out of the cottage. "Why oh why god. Why can't you take her?" As I walked towards the well I saw some kids playing in the fields. I remembered when Katherine and I used to play in the fields. It was autumn and leaves were flying around. It was a strong wind, but it had a hint of summer in it. The sky was big and blue and the clouds moved swiftly through it. The big naked trees sang in the wind with whispers of winter, and the feeling held a promise of beauty. I reached the well and filled two buckets of water. To my right was the little village that looked like gold in the radiant sunshine.Autumn part 1 by jullerull
