Hi Guys,


I've not been around here for a very long time, so a little update is definitely in order.

About six years ago, I joined DA - a friend at work had been harping on about it, and said I would enjoy the site.  So I joined, and I did - I found the site to be very interesting, and full of obviously like-minded people.  One of those people, suggested I take a look at a few galleries, most notably those of and another by someone who called themselves Sleep-Flower.  I noted that the latter shared an interest with me in Japanese Manga, so I started talking to them about it.  Very quickly, it became apparent that we shared much more than just Manga in common.   

I found out, eventually, that my mystery lady was called Em, and she ultimately left the Sleep-Flower profile to become .
We sent each other lots of notes each day, and it didn't take long before we'd really started to fall for each other.  BUT, even though we both lived near London, we never met up.  It was complicated, for reasons that only we need to know, and so we carried on with our lives loving each other but, seemingly, never destined to meet.

Nearly four years on from the first note, I jokingly asked her out (as I did all of the time) and she stunned me by saying yes   We started talking on the phone, and before you knew it we were face to face outside the Natural History Musuem in London - and the rest, as they say, is history.  We've now been together for over two years, during which time we've fallen in love all over again, she's helped me through my ridiculous broken leg, we've got a house together and are living with our crazy collection of animals (a German Shepherd, two beautiful rabbits, five tarantulas and five snakes!).  

So I have DeviantArt, and more specifically , to thank for bringing my beautiful girl into my life.  I've never been more happy and I have everything I've ever wanted.  Neither of us have much time on our hands now, but I'm definitely going to try and become a presence on DA again. I've enjoyed interacting with all the lovely people I've met on this site, looking at your fantastic work and showing you mine.  Hopefully you're all happy and well, and I look forward to catching up with you all soon.
